Meg Fister
Louisville native with close to 20 years in television, film, and nonprofit leadership. Producer and development executive whose senior roles at Quinn’s House Productions (NBC, Universal, Warner Bros.) included managing multi-million-dollar budgets and guiding projects from pitch through delivery for major networks and studios. Also held artistic leadership positions at Center Theatre Group (Los Angeles) and Actors Theatre of Louisville.
As Executive Director, Meg leads the charge to attract film and television productions to Kentucky, strengthen the commonwealth’s creative workforce, and position the state as a premier filming destination.

How do I apply for the Kentucky Entertainment Incentive?
Contact the Kentucky Cabinet for Economic Development directly at CED.KEI@ky.gov to schedule the mandatory introductory call and begin your application. Apply early — the $75M annual cap can be exhausted.
What types of productions qualify?
Feature films, TV series, miniseries, TV movies, pilots, documentaries, streaming content (Netflix, Hulu, etc.), Broadway touring shows, and industrial/commercial projects all qualify.
What’s the difference between 30% and 35%?
Standard spend qualifies for 30%. Shooting in one of Kentucky’s designated Enhanced Counties OR hiring Kentucky-resident below-the-line crew triggers the 35% rate on those expenditures.
